One person, building websites
for dental practices.

Platte and his wife, in the Colorado foothills.

I started root because dental websites were getting the worst of the web.

Overpriced agencies. Cookie-cutter templates. “Patient acquisition strategies.” Dentists were paying thousands for websites that looked like every other dentist’s website.

I figured I could do better. Build each site by hand, charge a fair price, and skip all the noise. So I did.

I’m still one person, and I plan to keep it that way.

How I work

  1. You reach out

Email, the form on the homepage — whatever’s easiest. Tell me about your practice. You don’t need a brief or a list of requirements. Just tell me who you are.

  2. I do the homework

I look at your current site, your reviews, your area. I come back with a plan: what I’d build, what it’d look like, and why.

  3. I build it

Custom design, built from scratch. Not a template. You see drafts along the way and tell me what you think. Takes about two weeks.

  4. Then I take care of it

Hosting, speed, security, updates. You email me when you need something changed, and I change it. That’s the whole arrangement.
